The Steel Roman Dial Cartier Tank

The Cartier Tank has a rich heritage dating back to the first quarter of the 20th century. The Tank Basculante was presented by Cartier in 1933. This piece dates to the early 2000s and features a quartz movement in the steel case that measures 35x22 mm. The white dial has black Roman numerals and the ‘secret’ Cartier signature in the VII numeral. The blue cabochon at 12 o’clock is used to reverse the inner case of the watch through a 360 degree rotation. The watch can also double as a table clock.
